By Car:

We are within easy reach from the M25 Junction 24 and the A111 Cockfosters Road.

There's no general parking at the House itself - aside from our three Blue Badge spaces, which must be pre-booked (see Accessibility below). The main free car park is in Trent Country Park, on the A111 Cockfosters Road next to Go Ape. From the carpark, join the main park path and continue straight ahead the whole way - you don't need to turn off anywhere - until you reach the House. It's approximately a 15-minute walk.

Paid parking is also available at Oakwood Underground station, which is a 20-minute walk to the House. The museum runs a free shuttle bus service from Snakes Lane opposite Oakwood Station, see below for more details.

Blue Badge holders or those with mobility issues, see Accessibility below for parking/drop-off provision.

By Tube:

The nearest and easiest London Underground station is Oakwood (Piccadilly Line), a 20-minute walk from Trent Park House along Snakes Lane, or you can take our shuttle bus from near the station directly to the House (see below).

Shuttle bus (Oakwood Station):

A shuttle runs between Snakes Lane, close to Oakwood Station (Piccadilly Line), and Chaplin Drive, a short walk from the museum.

To locate the shuttle bus stop, exit right from Oakwood Underground station and cross to Snakes Lane, opposite the station exit. The bus stop can be found just at the entrance to Snakes Lane - look for the sign with a QR code.

Seats must be booked before boarding. To book, scan the QR code on the sign at the stop and allow five to ten minutes to complete the booking on your phone.

You can book a single journey or a return. If you need help booking a seat, please ask at the front desk when you are at the museum.
