Website Development & Tech Integration, Sharing Stories project
Trent Park House of Secrets is seeking to appoint a freelance website developer or agency to join their team, to provide web design and development as well as tech integration to the existing Shopify website.
You will advise on the development of the website, along with implementation of tech integration and infrastructure that may be needed to fulfil the project needs. The work is expected to include a refreshment of the current Trent Park House website, which has been funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This will include and showcase the project deliverables across the schools and learning pages, supporting the community volunteer recruitment, fundraising programme, membership scheme integration and other commercial activities. There will need to be some structural updates to make navigation easier and to allow other operational functions to be built in.
Budget £19,200 +VAT.
Timeline: To start April 2026 for approx. 15 months until the end of July 2027.
Short-listed candidates will be interviewed remotely, by MS Teams or Zoom. The provisional date for interviews is Friday 20th March 2026.

Theatre in Education Company, Sharing Stories project
Trent Park House is seeking to appoint a Theatre in Education company to develop the new KS2 History workshops (Catherine Townshend theme) in consultation with primary schools in Enfield and Barnet, as recruited by the in-house Schools Manager.
We are looking for a company that has a proven track record of collaboratively creating and delivering immersive, engaging curriculum-linked learning experiences with and for KS2 children, using drama and character-based approaches.
Budget: Development and pilot work with four Partner Schools and the roll-out phase of 57 sessions in schools: Total: £12,500* (plus VAT if applicable).
There is a separate budget available for the purchase of costumes and materials to be used in the sessions: £1,500.

Project Evaluator, Sharing Stories project
Trent Park House of Secrets is seeking to appoint a freelance independent project evaluator to manage the continuous evaluation of the project by through the creation of an evaluation framework and feedback form templates for use with Schools, Volunteer Historians and Oral History Research projects. The evaluator will work with the Volunteer Manager and Schools Manager to distribute, collect and assess participant feedback. A formal written evaluation report at the end of the project will review project outcomes and make recommendations for future implementation and integration.
You must have good demonstrable experience of project evaluation on similar projects and of developing an evaluation plan and framework, working with consultants and the project teams to ensure they are embedded across the project. You will have experience of consolidating and refining evaluation objectives and metrics, defining who you will be working with, what methodologies will be used, what types of data will be collected, when this will be collected and by whom.
You will also monitor and report against deliverables in the form of a written report to the Project Manager and Fundraising Consultant. You will contribute to the final evaluation for the National Lottery Heritage Fund project, detailing project outcomes and making recommendations in advance of the museum opening.
Budget £11,000 plus VAT. Plus travel & subsistance for up to £450
